A red 2014 Cadillac CTS sedan, which came off the assembly lines at the Lansing Grand River plant in Michigan, was celebrated as being the brand’s one millionth vehicle produced.

Construction of the industrial complex began in 1999 and the plant was opened in 2001.

Today, it assembles the Cadillac CTS, CTS-V and ATS, and will be joined by the Chevrolet Camaro in 2014.

The ultra-modern plant in Lansing is a huge complex of 232,258 square metres, which employs 1541 people.
