Volvo S60 and V60 Polestar: Swedish Muscle
Volvo goes up against the sportier versions of Audi, BMW and Mercedes-Benz with the release of its S60 and V60 Polestar editions.
The models were conceived with the help of the racing company Polestar.
Their six-cylinder in-line 3.0-litre engine delivers 350 horsepower and 369 lb-ft of torque. Only an automatic transmission with paddle shifters is available.
They accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.9 seconds and top speed is electronically limited to 250 km/h.
The Volvo S60 and V60 AWD Polestar editions have a stiffer chassis, more powerful brakes and 20-inch wheels.
