For those who are looking for a car ready to face the toughest roads, Chrysler’s LLC division will offer the Dodge Journey Crossroad.
Based on the standard Journey with a few (mostly aesthetic) modifications, the ground clearance of this offroad-themed version will remain the same.

The 2015 Dodge Journey Crossroad will be unveiled in just over a week at the Chicago Auto Show.

It’s Characterized By:

- Aluminum skid plates
- Blackened grille
- Redesigned bumpers
- Platinum roof rack
- Crossroad logos
- Black 19-inch wheels

Inside, we find leather heated seats with grey stitching and an 8.4-inch touch screen for Chysler’s infotainment system called Uconnect.

Two Motors

It will be powered by a 2.4-litre four-cylinder with 173 horsepower.  For an additional cost, the 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 with 283 horsepower will make many happy. Automatic transmissions with either four or six speeds remain the options.

The crossover vehicle is front-wheel drive with all-wheel drive as an option and goes on sale this spring.
