At the New Delhi Auto Show, Volkswagen introduced a second version of its Taigun prototype giving us a glimpse of a new urban SUV for emerging markets. In Geneva well get a chance to see another urban SUV called the T –ROC which is destined for North American markets and slated to enter the lineup below the Tiguan.

The overall length of the Volkswagen Tiguan is 4427 mm , while the T -ROC is 4180 mm.

Dynamic Profile

The Volkswagen Taigun aims to become a five-door urban SUV while the T -ROC is content with only three doors. The little urban adventurer has a front section that is reminiscent of its main rival-to-be, the Nissan Juke.

With flared fenders, wheels pushed toward the extremities and a floating roof, the SUV has a very menacing look to it.

No Mystery Under The Hood

The Volkswagen T -ROC will be offered with the Golf GTD motor: a 2.0-litre four cylinder TDI generating 184 horsepower. Everything is connected to a DSG dual-clutch transmission with seven speeds. The vehicle also has the 4MOTION system, exclusive to Volkswagen.
