50th Anniversary Ford Mustang

Ford took the opportunity, during the Mustang’s 50th anniversary at the New York Auto Show, to unveil a special edition of its famous pony car.

It will be based on the Mustang GT Fastback (meaning a 5 liter V8 producing 420HP lurks under the hood) and will feature nearly all the options available on the build sheet. This means that the lucky buyers will only have two choices to make: the color (either Wimbledon White, like the very first 1964 Mustang sold, or Kona Blue) and the transmission!

Exterior modifications include a lot of chrome accents, like the headlights, a trim piece around the side windows, the front grille and the taillights. This Mustang is also equipped with louvers, just like the Muscle cars of the golden era. Of course, about a dozen 50th Anniversary badges will adorn the car.

All 50th Anniversary Mustangs will also feature the Performance Package, with Brembo brakes, 19 inch wheels and Pirelli P-Zero tires.

If you NEED one of these Mustangs, I would suggest you hurry to your Ford dealership, since this special edition will be limited to only 1,964 units!
