Road-tripping in Ferraris

John Hunt is a lucky man. Not only was he able to score the latest Ferrari supercar, the LaFerrari, but he also decided to drive all the way to Maranello to go get it. But when he got to his garage, he had a very nice problem: when your stable already includes a 288 GTO, a F40, a F50 and an Enzo, how do you choose what to drive?

Since he didn't want to regret choosing one or another, he did what every sensible billionaire would do: he enlisted his sons and a few friends, and organized what is probably the best convoy to cross Europe in a while!

That's no small task: we are talking about a 14 hour drive through France and Switzerland in cars that were not exactly known for their reliability... Mr. Hunt is however one of the only people who drive their limited-run Italian cars: he owned the F40 for about 20 years, and the Enzo has already done 60,000 km.

When these pictures were taken, he had only driven the LaFerrari about 5 minutes, but he plans on enjoying it thoroughly, since his return trip will take them through the Alps, a perfect place to stretch the legs of these red supercars!
