A New Chinese Law For High Beams

A congested road in China

Have you ever been followed by a car with its high beams on? It blinds you and it is unbelievably annoying.

Police in Shenzhen, China may have found a solution to this problem: if a motorist is found guilty of leaving their high beams on, they will have to pay a $49 fine.

That's not bad, but the offender also has to stare at a police car's high beams for 5 minutes!

Reactions to this law are mixed. While some people like the ''eye for an eye'' approach, others are concerned about the health of the people forced to look at headlights for prolonged periods.

What do you think of this law? Should it be implemented here?
