The new Mustang has not yet reached dealerships, but it seems as though Saleen is already on the case and giving it more power: say hi to the 2015 S302, the latest version of the tuner’s best-selling conversion kit.

First off, the S302 differs from the ordinary Mustang by its looks: Saleen replaces the whole front of the car with a more aggressive bumper, larger grille and HID headlights. The rear gets a trunk-mounted wing, and the sideskirts are also redesigned.

But the biggest change comes under the hood: three levels of performance are offered (they all come from the same 5-litre V8): the White Label gets a 15-horsepower upgrade, courtesy of new injectors and a free-flowing exhaust and intake. The Yellow Label model adds a supercharger, which brings the total power to a very respectable 640. Finally, the Black Label tops it all off with a functional hood scoop, a unique rear bumper, sway bars and bigger brakes, which should help this Saleen perform at the track.

Pricing has yet to be revealed, but it would be reasonable to think that the S302 won’t be much more expensive than the outgoing model. The 2014 starts at $40,000 US (double that for a well-equipped Black Label).
