The Car Guide/Le Guide de l'auto Wins Industry Awards!

We took home this gorgeous trophy crafted by a glass artist for our best-selling book, Le Guide de l’auto 2015, in the best print publication design category.

Every year during TestFest week in Niagara Falls, the Automotive Journalists Association of Canada holds an award ceremony to recognize the country’s leading automotive journalists and publications. And once again this year, the Car Guide took home a number of titles. Three, in fact!

Our writer Marc Lachapelle, who already had other AJAC awards under his belt, was awarded the Pirelli photography prize for best published photo. Published on www.carguideweb.com, Marc’s photo shows the back of a Porsche 918 Spyder he test-drove at Laguna Seca. The judges only had good things to say about this outstanding shot.

Marc also took home a second place award in the best test-drive category. His winning piece on the Toyota Prius was published in the Guide de l’auto 2015, the Car Guide’s print publication (available in French only).

Last but not least, the entire Car Guide team was applauded when the Guide de l’auto book, now in its 49th edition, was presented the Kia trophy for best design in the print publication category.

Behind each article, every webpage and publication stands a devoted team that works crazy hours to deliver the best. Having our work recognized by our peers is a gratifying pat on the back and encouragement to keep up the good work!
