After a few leaks on the Internet, Renault finally unveiled the Alpine Vision Gran Turismo, which will take its place alongside other concepts in the Gran Turismo video game.

As a reminder, the Vision Gran Turismo initiative enables designers to create a vehicle that represents the future of their brands. These creations are then uploaded into Gran Turismo 6, and gamers can drive them in-game (provided they have a copy of the game and a PlayStation 3).

As you can see, this Alpine Vision Gran Turismo is a futuristic race car. It's a single-seater, and the lack of a roof means that this concept isn't a road car in disguise.

The digital Alpine is powered by a 4.5 litre powerplant developing 450 horsepower. This engine is paired with a seven-speed sequential gearbox to spin the rear wheels. With a weight of only 900 kg, this little race car  can reach up to 320 km/h in-game.

A real version of the bodywork will be presented at the Festival Automobile International in Paris starting today. The life-size model will then be featured at the Retromobile Show, which starts on February 4th.
