Mercedes-AMG G63 Crazy Color Edition: Expensive Smarties

Just in case you were worried that your next Mercedes-AMG G63 or G65 wouldn't be obnoxious enough, the manufacturer just announced a set of very bright colours for the big SUV.

Up until now, you could get a G-Class in grey, black, white and maybe burgundy, if you asked nicely. If you were looking for more unique colours, you had to go to the aftermarket

In an effort to rectify the situation, Mercedes-AMG decided to offer more vivid colours, like Solar Ray (yellow), Tomato Red, Sunset Beam (orange), Galactic Beam (purple) and Alien Green. Prices range between 15 and 20,000 euros.

For now, these colours are only available in Europe, but since the North American market is usually a fan of brightly-coloured SUVs (yellow Hummer H2, anyone?), we may see these new G-Wagen flavours soon.
