New Style For The RAM Laramie Limited

The RAM 1500 might be a very good truck, but it is still starting to show its age. In an effort to keep its competitive edge against the other American offerings, FCA has applied some stylistic updates to their top-of-the-line model, the Laramie Limited.

The first thing that your eyes will see is the all-new front grille; for the first time in decades, RAM has moved away from the crosshair grille in favour of a chromed snout with two large nostrils. Chromed lines fill the rest of the fascia, and the RAM name is clearly embossed in the middle of it all, in case you forgot what the brand’s name was.

And if you still can’t quite make out which manufacturer built this truck, just wait until it has gone by and you will they know exactly what it is. On the tailgate, the RAM name has been enlarged significantly; the 3 letters are now 51 centimetres wide. To my knowledge, this is the biggest badge to ever grace the back of a vehicle.

The RAM Laramie Limited is of course equipped with enough luxury features to make a full-size luxury sedan jealous: high-quality Natura Plus leather and real wood accents, leather-bound steering wheel, 8.4-inch Uconnect screen with standard navigation, heated and cooled front seats, heated rear bench seat…

You can expect to see these RAMs on the road come spring, and the HD variants (2500 and 3500) will arrive in the autumn.
