The Shanghai auto show starts at the end of the month, and we have already heard some rumours about the vehicles that will be there; according to some of them, Audi might be on the verge of unveiling a new prototype at the popular auto show.

Last year, Audi presented us with two iterations of the Prologue: a sleek coupe and a beautiful wagon. An autonomous version of the coupe was shown a few months after the original vehicle to showcase the vehicle’s technological prowess.

For the Shanghai auto show, Audi might show us a third iteration of the Prologue. According to our source, an Allroad might be in the works. In the manufacturer’s language, the Allroad moniker means that the car will be a few centimetres higher, will feature plastic cladding around the wheel arches and will obviously be fitted with a Quattro drivetrain (it’s an Audi, after all).

The information hasn’t been confirmed by the manufacturer, however. We will have to wait for the start of the show on April 22.
