Can't Decide Between A Range Rover And A Pickup?

If you liked the style and ‘’practicality’’ of your Chevrolet Avalanche, but are now ready to trade it in for something more modern and prestigious, your options are somewhat limited: Cadillac doesn’t sell the Escalade EXT anymore, and the Hummer H2 SUT is long gone…

Unless you want to get a full-size pickup truck or an SUV, you were condemned to make a sacrifice… Until now. In exchange for a very large sum of money, German tuner Startech will build you a custom Range Rover pickup.

With the addition of more than 100 unique parts, the rear cargo area has been opened up and configured to haul items up to 1.1 metres long.

The rest of the Land Rover is also modified: Startech adds wider fenders, modified bumpers, carbon fibre accents and a lowered suspension. With a new exhaust, the supercharged 5-litre engine now pushes out 526 horsepower, which is enough to propel the truck to 100 km/h from a standstill in 5.3 seconds.

If you ever decide to buy one of these trucks, you will be happy to learn that you can choose any colour you want. You can also fit your custom Range Rover with any engine currently available in the lineup.

The first public appearance of this peculiar Range Rover will be at the Shanghai Auto Show.
