Charles-Édouard Jeanneret-Gris, more known under the name Le Corbusier, was a French architect who is mainly remembered for being a pioneer of Modern architecture. He also invented urban planning and founded the International Congress of Modern Architecture.

I can already hear your next question: ‘’that’s very interesting, but why are you telling me this?’’ Well, 50 years ago, Le Corbusier died; to mark his passing, Renault decided to create a concept inspired by his art.

The Renault Coupe Corbusier Concept has straight, clean lines, a long hood and a very aerodynamic cabin; the overall look is a throwback to '30s and '40s cars. The coupe’s doors also attract attention, opening from the rear and skyward.

The Renault Coupe Corbusier Concept probably won’t become a production model (even though we would have loved seeing some of them on the road!). According to the manufacturer, the concept was created by stylists in their leisure time for an event in France. There is also no mention of the concept’s powertrain, likely because there isn’t anything under the stylish hood.
