Do you remember the Lykan Hypersport? Built by W Motors, it was the first vehicle to be entirely designed and built in the UAE. The car rose to stardom in Furious 7, where it jumped between a pair of towers in Dubai. The car was powered by a 3.7 litre flat-six developed by RUF.

With a price of $3.4 million USD, it was one of the most expensive vehicles in the world; only seven were ever built, and they were all sold.

At the Dubai Motor Show, W Motors unveiled its newest project; less exclusive but faster, it is known as the Fenyr Supersport. Production will be capped at 25 units, and each of them will receive a 4-litre flat-six powerplant. Power figures stand at an impressive 900 horsepower and 885 pound-feet of torque, which are then sent to the rear wheels through a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission. The Fenyr Supersport gets from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.7 seconds and can supposedly reach 399 km/h. There is even a faster (and not road-legal) version reportedly in the works.

Even though you can see that the Fenyr is related to the Lykan, we can also see that there are some differences; for example, the fenders are wider and the headlights are even sharper. The car is made entirely out of carbon fibre, while the chassis is a complex assortment of aluminium tubes.

Prices haven’t yet been announced, but we hear rumours of around $1.6 million USD.
