New Tires for Your Old Porsche

Antique car owners are usually very picky when it comes to their rides. They want every single detail to be perfect, from the engine down to the bodywork and interior. However, there are some details that have to be modified if you want to daily-drive it: in modern traffic, non-assisted drum brakes, mechanical fans and bias-ply tires not longer cut it.

This is why Porsche just announced they will offer tire recommendations for some of its legendary models. If you own a Porsche built between 1959 and 2005, the Stuttgart manufacturer has a product for you.

For example, the 356 (B and C variants) and the 911 (G, 964, 993, 996) receive no less  than 32 different tire choices. The front-engined Porsches aren't forgotten, as there are specific tires for the 924, 928, 944 and 968.

Overall, 161 summer tires models and 131 winter tires are offered by Porsche.

All tires look vintage, but they are built with modern technologies; if you want to drive your old Porsche every day, these new tires are the safe option.
