It’s arriving just in time for the sunny season with refreshed and slightly more aggressive styling, a new Sport grade and the availability of the Honda Sensing safety system. The 2018 Honda Fit arrives with a younger look and new features that preserve its status as one of the best subcompact cars on the market.

The new chrome and black front fascia boasts a larger “H” logo, headlamp clusters that melt into the front fenders, chrome trim on the front bumper and more angular fog lamps all bring a sportier appearance to the 2018 edition of the Fit.

This revised style is also transposed to the rear portion of the car, low and large, with a redesigned bumper that sports piano black trim and a spoiler-like lower section. To top off its revised look, a new paint colour called Orange Fury joins a selection that also includes White Orchid Pearl, Modern Steel Metallic, Crystal Black Pearl, Milano Red and Aegean Blue Metallic.

The Honda Sensing suite will be available with automatic transmission-equipped Fits, and will include adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning, lane keep assist, Collision Mitigation Braking System, Road Departure Warning.

“With sporty new styling and additional feature content, the 2018 Honda Fit ups the ante with new styling and sophistication not typically found in the subcompact segment,” said Jean Marc Leclerc, Senior Vice-President Sales and Marketing, Honda Canada Inc. “Fit has always represented a great value for subcompact customers and the addition of available Honda Sensing to its fun-to-drive performance and unmatched versatility will keep the Honda Fit as the industry’s benchmark subcompact.”

More details on the 2018 Honda Fit should soon be released by the automaker.
