Lexus to Unveil the LF-1 Limitless Concept Flagship Crossover in Detroit
The Lexus LF-1 Limitless Concept will be unveiled at the next Detroit Auto Show. Here, we cranked up the contrast of the image published by Lexus to reveal a little more detail.
The Japanese luxury brand is planning to make some waves at the upcoming Detroit Auto Show with a new large-scale SUV. The Lexus LF-1 Limitless is said to represent their vision of a future flagship crossover vehicle.
At the moment, it’s the Lexus LX wears that title in the lineup, an old-school SUV built on a truck chassis and that benefits from a 5.7-litre V8 as well as a four-wheel drive system. Just below it sits the Lexus GX, also built on a truck chassis and that’s propelled by a 4.6-litre V8.

From what we can see in the only published image so far, the Lexus LF-1 Limitless will flaunt a dramatically more dynamic body, with a sloping roofline and a heavily inclined rear window. Aside from an immense glass roof, we also note individual screens for the rear-seat occupants.
This concept SUV was penned in the Toyota group’s CALTY design studio in California. According to Lexus, the LF-1 is a utility vehicle that will “redefines the boundaries of luxury.”
