Ford F-150 Raptor Turned Into Gas-Powered Tesla Cybertruck Replica

The Tesla Cybertruck won’t enter production until late 2021, but a lot of people are eagerly waiting for it, as evidenced by the 600,000+ pre-orders the company claims to have received so far.

Not content to just sit still and do nothing about it, a Tesla and Ford enthusiast in Bosnia decided to make his own Cybertruck replica… by dismantling an F-150 Raptor!

Helped by a team of engineers and technology experts at his company, Stark Solutions, Igor Krezic took eight months to complete the build.

Obviously, the biggest difference is that this Cybertruck runs on gasoline instead of electrons. Other specs including exterior dimensions are not the same, as well, but you have to admit that the visual resemblance is striking.

“Everybody was watching and half of them thought we made a tank, because people don’t know what the Cybertruck is,” Mario Coric, the company manager, told Reuters following a first public outing.

Stark Solutions is now trying to homologate the pickup to be able to drive it on the road. The problem? Vehicles with sharp edges like those on the Cybertruck are banned in Bosnia.
