Most and Least Liked Vehicles in 2023 According to Consumer Reports

Published on February 3, 2023 in News by The Car Guide

U.S. magazine Consumer Reports has once again published a list of vehicles owners like the most. The results are from the 2022 Annual Auto Surveys, involving more than 300,000 vehicles from the 2020-2022 model years, as well as some 2023 models.

The team used criteria like price, performance, reliability, comfort, enjoyment and more, then came up with a satisfaction score based on the percentage of owners who responded "definitely yes" to the question of whether they would buy the same vehicle if they had it to do all over again.

Keep in mind that the most satisfying models or brands aren’t necessarily the best on the market. They may not rate well on other measures such as crashworthiness or long-term reliability.

According to Consumer Reports, the most liked car brand in 2023 is Porsche, followed by Genesis, Tesla, BMW and Subaru. On the other hand, the least liked brands, in order, are Infiniti, Volkswagen, Mercedes-Benz, Nissan and Cadillac.

As for the most and least liked vehicles across all segments, scroll down to see the rankings.
