#11: Take a big-seller like the Volkswagen Golf and slap an electric engine into it for a reasonable price and you will have a best-seller. No word on pricing or even if it'll be availible in Canada but if they can get it in the low $30K range it will be a winner on our shores.
#10: The new and improved Cadillac Escalade will continue to be the preferred vehicle of executives, limo services, professional athletes and rap artists.
#9: While some may doubt there is a market for such a high-end Kia, the K900 is likely to succeed given parent company Hyundai’s track record of late. If they can deliver comparable luxury at a lesser price, they will peel off customers from the Japanes and German luxury brands.
#8: Jaguar’s F-Type Coupe is a stunning beauty and should provide healthy competition to the Porsche 911 and Porsche Cayman.
#7: The Subaru Legacy has always been sort of an outlier in the full-size sedan market dominated by the other Japanese makes. This concept is gorgeous and should do wonders for the new Legacy.
#6: MINI continues to expand in North America and the popular BMW-owned brand shows no signs of slowing down. This is the new MINI Cooper S freshly unveiled at the show.
#5: You’ve already read the reviews about how amazing the new 2014 Corvette is. It was a no-brainer to make this list.
#4: Take an already successful design and make it better – this is what Subaru has done with the 2015 WRX. It will sell like hot cakes.
#3: The Ford Edge is already a very successful vehicle. As long they don’t mess with that success - and from the look of things they didn’t - this new model will sell wonderfully.
#2: The Mercedes GLA-Class is a great-looking crossover and enters one of the fastest-growing market segments.
#1: BMW says it already has 10,000 orders for the i3, due to be in dealerships in the first quarter of 2014. An affordable electric car with BMW engineering behind it is bound to do well.
