The Chinese culture doesn't share our views of intellectual property. This makes for an interesting Beijing Auto Show! Here are some of the best designs of this year.
BAIC BJ100 : half-Jeep, half-Hummer!
Ssangyong Chairman: Kinda looks like a Mercedes-Benz S-class, no?
Chery Tiggo5: It may look unique from the front...
Chery Tiggo5: ... but it looks like an older Santa Fe from this angle.
Dongfeng Hanma: Now what vehicle might be the inspiration for this? (Hint: even the name is pretty much the same!)
Trumpchi GA3S: Some distant relative of the Kia Forte?
GAC E-Jet Concept: Not only is the car shaped like a Volvo S60, the logo (to the right) is HEAVILY influenced by the Autobots...
GAC GONOW GA 200: If you know what a Volkswagen Amarok looks like, you will recognize the shape of this truck!
Ssangyong A230C: This is what the BMW X4 would have looked like if it was made 10 years ago!
D60: The last-gen Sonata, with a hint of Lexus...?
Leopaard CS10: (no typo here, that's its real name!) Somewhere between a Ford Escape and a Subaru Forester!
Changan Grand Raeton: This is a factory limo, with the classy looks of a Lexus ES (or LS).
Dongfeng AX7: Just like a Honda CR-V!
Luxgen SUV: The shape of a Santa Fe, and the front of a Fiat Punto... Weird.
