Whether it's because of their age, of the era they were built or plain financial cuts, some of the most iconic sport cars would be embarrassed in a drag race against a brand-new Toyota Camry!
10 : In 1956, this Mercedes-Benz 300SL Gullwing was quite fast... With a 0-100 km/h accomplished in 9.4 seconds.
9 : The Delorean DMC-12 had a look that came from the future... but its pitiful 130-hp V6 was stuck in the past.
8 : The 1961 Jaguar E-Type got from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.8 seconds... that was quick, but it would get dusted by a modern Camry.
7 : One of the slowest Ferrari ever made, the Mondial and its 9.4 seconds 0-100 km/h time.
6 :With looks that were inspired by a fighter plane and a melodious V12, you'd expect the Italian supercar to stand its ground against a Japanese sedan... but no. It would be left behind with a 0-100 km/h time of 6.6 seconds.
5 : Porsche wanted to have a more affordable car in their lineup. Since it took 13.7 seconds for the 914 to get to 100 km/h, that poor thing couldn't even pretend to be a sport car.
4 : In 1985, the Nissan 300ZX was shaped like a wedge and had aspirations to challenge Italian supercars...But it was slow, reaching 100 km/h in 8 seconds flat.
3 : The RX-7 never was a straight-line car, but the 1978 model took 9 seconds to get from a standstill to 100 km/h... slow by any standards.
Just before it was modernized, the 1982 Corvette struggled to make 200 horsepower... Pathetic.
1 : The Ferdinand GT3 RS might be ridiculously light, but since it's pedal-powered, performance varies wildly depending on who's behind the wheel!
