Mustang, F-150 and Expedition: Ford Rocks 2017 SEMA

Roush Mustang
To create this sports car, Roush used a 2018 Mustang GT as a base, on which it installed a wide-body kit, applied a Grabber Green paint job and added a few carbon fibre trim pieces. Under the hood, there’s a 5.0-litre V8 and a 10-speed automatic transmission. Also included are a Roush Performance suspension, Vossen/Roush 20-inch wheels, a cold-air intake, a ram air hood scoop as well as Recaro sport seats and Watson safety cage.

F-250 Project SD126
Based on a Ford F-250 4x4 XLT Regular Cab, Project SD126 receives a custom short bed, a suspension consisting of BDS and FOX components as well as giant 42-inch wheels. Under the hood lies a 6.7-litre turbo-diesel V8 matched to a six-speed automatic transmission, enhanced with an S&B cold-air intake, EZ-LYNK programming and a Diamond Eye exhaust system.

Focus ST Concept
The Focus ST Concept was created with the idea to make a vehicle for the modern enthusiast. It boasts a purple paint job, lower-body aerodynamic add-ons, widened fenders and an oversized rear wing. In addition, a helipad is installed on the car’s roof to accommodate a drone. The turbocharged, 2.0-litre four-cylinder engine’s output has been increased with a FullRace turbo kit, a Borg Warner turbocharger, Ford Performance exhaust system as well as Mishimoto cooling systems.

Vaccar EcoSport Concept
At Ford, the design of this EcoSport is qualified as that of a trendy lumberjack. The little SUV gets all-terrain tires, fender flares, a K&N Vaccar air intake kit as well as a Flowmaster Vaccar exhaust system. Under the hood lies a 2.0-litre, four-cylinder engine managed by a six-speed automatic transmission.

Mustang DRAGG
Drag Racing Against Gangs and Graffiti, or DRAGG, is a non-profit, youth-oriented automotive after-school program. It created a police car based on a 2018 Mustang equipped with a turbocharged, 2.3-litre four-cylinder engine, and the car received an aerodynamic body kit, stripes, a rear wing and a police push bar. Some mechanical enhancements were also fitted to the car, such as a Ford Performance by Borla exhaust system, Ford Performance springs, an Eibach sub-frame, America Muscle rear sway bars and Wilwood brakes.

F-150 Air Design
As a tribute to sport trucks of the ‘90s, the firm Air Design offers a range of accessories that includes, among other things, aerodynamic add-ons as well as a hood scoop and fender vents. Also noteworthy is a lowered suspension, bigger brakes and oversized wheels and tires. This pickup is based on the F-150 4x2 Lariat SuperCrew, equipped with a twin-turbo, 3.5-litre V6 and a 10-speed automatic transmission.

Focus RS Rally Revival
This Focus RS boasts an even more aggressive appearance than the production version, thanks in part to its Baja Designs light kit, its Rally Innovations aerodynamic body kit and its Rolotech wrapping. The Focus RS Rally Revival also received modifications to its turbocharged, 2.3-litre four-cylinder engine as well as an RS-R Sports-i suspension, Eibach sway bars, DBA USA 4000 brake rotors and 19-inch OZ Racing Superturismo GT wheels.

MAD Industries Mustang Convertible
Based on a 2018 Mustang equipped with a turbocharged, 2.3-litre four-cylinder engine and a six-speed manual gearbox, this convertible modified by MAD Industries benefits from a white paint job highlighted by green and black striping. Eibach suspension, Wilwood brakes, Niche Road Wheels Staccato wheels and Ford Performance by Borla exhaust are also part of the package.

Focus RS Tjin Edition
Thanks to the addition of FullRace intake, intercooler and piping as well as a Ford Performance exhaust system, this modified version of the Focus RS gets a power increase. With its Pennzoil yellow Axalta paint, shortened springs, 19-inch Rotiform wheels and Anderson carbon fibre body accessories, the car instantly grabs one’s attention.

Focus RS “TriAthlete”
This Focus RS, which relies on a turbocharged, 2.3-litre four-cylinder engine, is enhanced with an air suspension, DBA USA 4000 brake rotors, 19-inch Forgestar CF5 Deep Concave wheels as well as a full aerodynamic body kit. All wrapped in a custom paint job by Chris Cruz Artistry. The engine’s output is up slightly with, among other things, a Ford Performance exhaust, a Levels Performance high-performance intercooler and a COBB carbon fibre cold-air intake.

Expedition CGS
This 2018 Expedition is dressed up in black and grey, with giant Savini SV66 Duoblock, ceramic-coated wheels. Its CGS exhaust system adds a few ponies to the twin-turbo, 3.5-litre V6 engine, while the McGaughy’s suspension enhances driving dynamics.

Expedition “Baja Forged Adventurer”
Inspired by West Coast designs, this version of the Expedition offers room for the family and their gear, whether it’s for cruising around town or heading off the beaten path. Based on a XLT 4x2 equipped with a twin-turbo, 3.5-litre V6, the “Baja Forged Adventure” also benefits from a performance exhaust, an ICON Vehicle Dynamics suspension, Hellwig sway bars and a Sparta Evolution brake system. The package is complete with LGE-CTS custom paint and graphics.

F-150 in collaboration with CJ Pony Parts
To this F-150 4x4 Lariat SuperCrew, Ford added a seven-inch suspension lift, a Ford Performance exhaust system, an aFe Momentum GT Stage 2 cold-air intake, Wilwood brakes as well as interior and exterior decorations. As for the truck’s powertrain, a twin-turbo, 3.5-litre V6 and a 10-speed automatic transmission were chosen.

F-150 RK Sport
Inspired by performance on the track, this F-150 4x2 XLT SuperCab gets a twin-turbo, 2.7-litre V6 and a 10-speed automatic transmission. Among the truck’s modifications are a performance exhaust system, a K&N cold-air intake, Cunningham Motors engine tuning as well as an RK Sport exterior add-ons.

F-150 Tjin Edition
This F-150 4x2 XLT SuperCrew benefits from an air suspension that lower the truck’s body to hug the ground, 24-inch Rotiform wheels, Falken tires and oversized Baer brakes. The cockpit is dressed up in black and orange Katkzin leather, along with a Kicker sound system. Under the hood is a 5.0-litre V8 with a 10-speed automatic transmission.

F-150 RTR Muscle Truck
Unlike many other versions of the F-150 on display at SEMA, this one isn’t equipped with an EcoBoost engine, but a good old 5.0-litre V8 matched to a 10-speed automatic transmission. Based on the 4x4 Lariat SuperCrew, the RTR Muscle Truck gets a performance exhaust system, a more robust suspension, all-terrain tires and a unique appearance.

F-150 for the “Modern Adventurer”
The “Modern Adventurer” project is based on an F-150 XLT SuperCrew, which boasts a red and black paint job and an A.R.E. Z Revo bed cover. The truck also gets a Ford Performance exhaust system, a Corsa air intake, a Skyjacker suspension, FOX shocks, Hellwig sway bars as well as upsized wheels and tires. Under the hood is a twin-turbo, 2.7-litre V6 and a 10-speed automatic transmission.

Mustang Air Design
Created from a 2018 Mustang with a turbocharged, 2.3-litre four-cylinder engine, this coupe boasts an Air Design aerodynamic body kit. Also included are Wilwood brakes, a Ford Performance by Borla exhaust system, 21-inch Forgiato Fratello ECL wheels as well as Recaro leather seats.

Mustang DeBerti Design
This Mustang GT coupe was modified by professional pilot Brad DeBerti, which included widening its body to fit 18-inch-wide Mickey Thompson tires. Also added was a Ford Performance by Borla exhaust system, a Watson independent rear suspension, H&R springs and struts as well as Ford Performance brakes.

Mustang Speedkore
This 2018 Mustang GT Convertible, equipped with a 5.0-litre V8 engine and a 10-speed automatic transmission, received a host of improvements to make faster and enhance its handling. Among those are carbon-fibre aerodynamic add-ons and a custom paint job by Speedkore, but also a titanium exhaust, Eibach springs, Brembo brakes and 20-inch HRE wheels.

F-350 “The Operator”
Nicknamed “The Operator,” this 2017 Ford F-350 4x4 Lariat CrewCab benefits from Hellwig air springs and sway bars, a custom hand-painted digi-camo scheme and all-terrain tires. It’s equipped with a 6.7-litre turbo-diesel V8 mated to a six-speed automatic transmission.

Mustang Tucci Hot Rods
According to Tucci Hot Rods, adding two turbos to the 5.0-litre V8 of this 2018 Mustang GT allows it to reach a top speed of 200 mph (320 km/h). It also installed G-Force driveshaft and rear axles, a Ford Performance by Borla exhaust system as well as Mishimoto radiator and transmission and oil coolers.
