The 2018 Jeep Wrangler JL is available in Sport, Sport S and Rubicon trim levels.

The Jeep Wrangler JL 2018's suspension has been reworked to provide improved travel and articulation during off-road driving.

The 2018 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon JL benefits from a reworked Selec-Trac transfer case, new Dana front and rear axles and, as usual, a Rock-Trac 4x4 system and Tru-Lok differentials.

The 2018 Jeep Wrangler JL's cockpit offers a choice of three infotainment systems, with five-, seven- and 8.4-inch touchscreens.

Aside from the 3.6-litre V6 (285 horsepower) already available, the 2018 Jeep Wrangler JL will offer an optional turbocharged, 2.0-litre four-cylinder engine (270 horsepower) with mild hybrid assist. In 2019, a turbo-diesel, 3.0-litre V6 (260 horsepower) will be added.

Thanks to its reworked suspension, the 2018 Jeep Wrangler JL is said to provide enhanced on-road comfort and on-road driving dynamics.

Three types of tops will be available on the 2018 Jeep Wrangler JL: a soft top, a removable hard top and, new this year, a power-retractable top called Sky One-Touch.
