A new exhibit titled “Film Emotions – Lamborghini and the World of Cinema” was recently inaugurated at the Lamborghini Museum in Sant’Agata Bolognese, Italy. It showcases Lamborghini cars that have left their mark on the big screen.

Are you a movie buff who also likes supercars? Check these beauties out!

In The Dark Knight Rises (2012), the last episode of the Batman saga, the Aventador is the car owned by Bruce Wayne (Christian Bale). How fitting for Batman!

While not included in the exhibit, a Lamborghini Murciélago LP 640 was featured in the two previous Batman movies, including The Dark Knight (2008) and Batman Begins (2005).

Also following the superhero theme is the grey Huracán Coupe used by Dr. Stephen Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) in Marvel’s Doctor Strange (2016) as a status symbol of the prestige of the world-renowned neurosurgeon. Chosen for its iconic design and breathtaking performance, the Huracán became the fulcrum of the turning point in the film.

Here is the red Lamborghini 350 GT from the Italian film Bar Sport (2011), which was filmed right in Sant’Agata Bolognese. The 350 GT is also the first Lamborghini production car in the brand’s history.

This iconic orange Lamborghini Miura P400 appeared in The Italian Job (1969). In the memorable opening sequence of the movie, it speeds along the St. Bernard pass amidst the snow, with actor Rossano Brazzi at the wheel before the fatal accident.

A green Lamborghini Countach was used in the opening scenes of The Cannonball Run (1981), speeding along the sun-soaked American highways that run between Connecticut and California. The iconic model adapts perfectly to the seductive nature of the provocative women driving it: Jill Rivers (Tara Buckman) and Marcie Thatcher (Adrienne Barbeau).

On the motorsport theme, a Lamborghini Gallardo Super Trofeo is the model that appears in the Italian film Veloce come il Vento (Italian Race, 2016), driven by Giulia de Martino (Matilda de Angelis) with the help of her brother Loris (Stefano Accorsi) in the Italian GT championship.

A matte black Lamborghini Jalpa starred alongside Sylvester Stallone in Rocky IV (1985). An unforgettable scene is the one in which Rocky Balboa talks to his son about the job of the boxer while polishing his Lamborghini.

Another famous Lamborghini is the LM002 SUV featured in the film Fast & Furious 4 (2009), where it was used off-road by one of the antagonists of Dominic Toretto (Vin Diesel).

The Lamborghini Sesto Elemento appeared in Need for Speed (2014). An obvious choice, wasn’t it? By the way, only 20 units were built and the name comes from the position of carbon in the periodic table (sixth element).

And finally, the Lamborghini Centenario starred in Transformers: The Last Knight (2017). With those lines, it sure looks like a robot. FYI, there were 40 copies of this supercar, which celebrates the 100th anniversary of company founder Ferruccio Lamborghini’s birthday.
