10. Ford Edge – Oakville Assembly Complex, Ontario
Just like its luxury cousin, the Lincoln MKX, the popular Ford Edge is built in Canada. The new ST performance model introduced for 2019 will certainly increase consumer interest.

9. Lexus RX – Cambridge South Plant, Ontario
In the early 2000s, Cambridge became the first plant outside of Japan to manufacture a Lexus vehicle. Canadian production of the RX—the brand’s best-selling model—includes the conventionally powered RX 350 and the gasoline-electric RX 450h.

8. Chevrolet Equinox – CAMI Assembly Plant in Ingersoll, Ontario
The latest Equinox has proven to be an excellent product and competitor in the compact SUV segment. It is also built in China and Mexico, but we can be proud of the work done in Ingersoll.

7. Dodge Grand Caravan/Chrysler Pacifica – Windsor Assembly Plant, Ontario
The venerable Grand Caravan and hot new Pacifica have won many awards and attracted legions of families. The former is all about value, while the latter is the only minivan available with a hybrid powertrain.

6. Dodge Charger/Dodge Challenger – Brampton Assembly Plant, Ontario
This is also where FCA builds the Chrysler 300, but let’s focus on the formidable duo that packs up to 707 horsepower in SRT Hellcat trim. As for the 840-horsepower Challenger SRT Demon, production was limited to the 2018 model year for exclusivity purposes.

5. Toyota RAV4 – Woodstock West Plant, Ontario
Woodstock is one of Toyota’s most technologically advanced production sites. With more than 250,000 RAV4 vehicles built annually, TMMC now ranks as the largest producing Toyota plant in North America and second largest producing Toyota plant worldwide. And the new generation (shown above) is coming!

4. Honda CR-V – Alliston Plant 2, Ontario
Production of this Japanese compact crossover shows no signs of slowing down. In fact, with increasing demand for SUVs, one has to wonder if the CR-V will eventually surpass the Civic in Canadian sales.

3. Toyota Corolla – Cambridge North Plant, Ontario
For generations, the Corolla has appealed to a ton of practical buyers due to its strong reputation for quality and reliability. And Canadian workers have something to say about that. Daily production amounts to 1,000 units.

2. Honda Civic – Alliston Plants 1 and 2, Ontario
Honda of Canada Mfg. produces the Honda Civic Sedan, Si and Coupe in Plant 1, and the Honda Civic Sedan in Plant 2. The love affair between Canadians and the Civic remains strong and the car has been the best-selling non-truck model in Canada for each of the past 20 years.

1. Ford GT – Multimatic Niche Vehicles North America in Markham, Ontario
This supercar is entirely made out of carbon fibre and houses a 647-horsepower twin-turbo V6 engine, so it naturally deserves the number one spot on our list. Limited to 1,000 units, the new Ford GT is fully customizable and can easily pass the $600,000 mark.
