Beautiful French Cars We’d Like to See in Canada

With Bastille Day celebrations and the success of Les Bleus at the 2018 World Cup, France is the place to be right now. And we sure would love to drive their cars, too.

Peugeot, Citroën, Renault, DS, Bugatti… Without further ado, here are some beautiful French cars we dream of seeing in Canada.

Above: Canadians love hatchbacks. Naturally, a car like the Renault Mégane would be a star here, especially in sporty R.S. trim.

Available in sedan and wagon body styles, the new Renault Talisman is a stylish executive car. Unsurprisingly, it’s a big hit during the Cannes festival.

We like the Renault ZOE as much for its clean lines as its EV range of 300 kilometres.

The Peugeot 308 is quite an attractive little hatchback that shows even more character in GT trim. How can you ignore the lion on the grille?

The new Peugeot 508 is a sleek sedan with a sloping roofline and muscular silhouette defined by sharp edges. The lighting signature is notable, too, just like the state-of-the-art interior.

The Alpine A110 is a little sports car the size of a BMW 2 Series, but with lines that are more akin to a Porsche 718 Cayman. Its 1.8-litre turbo engine produces 252 horsepower.

The DS 3 can take on many shapes and colours, including a cabriolet and limited editions. With plenty of customization options, it would beautifully rival MINI, don’t you think?

Described as a chic adventurer, the DS 4 Crossback is a small crossover with a sensual roofline and high-contrast design elements in black or chrome.

Need more space? The DS 7 Crossback is a refined, Audi-style SUV that ushers in the second generation of DS Automobiles. The grille, the headlights, the wheels… man, what a looker!

Citroën models typically boast a much more unorthodox design, but we’d still want to drive the C4 Cactus. The car’s proportions are nice and colour selection only makes it more eye-catching.

Last but certainly not the least, the heir to the famous Veyron, the Bugatti Chiron remains a benchmark in the world of premium supercars. The new Chiron Sport model you see here (2.65 million euros!) is even racier, firmer and more agile.
