The 10 Best Car Interiors of 2019 According to WardsAuto

For the ninth year in a row, WardsAuto magazine has revealed its list of the 10 best car interiors on the market—a useful reference for customers shopping for a new vehicle.

A total of 32 all-new or significantly improved car interiors were considered this year, with no price limit. And given the huge popularity of SUVs and crossovers, it’s almost shocking that half the list is made up of conventional passenger cars.

The judges based their decisions on several criteria including design aesthetic, comfort, ergonomics, materials, fit-and-finish and the user-friendliness of displays and controls.

Without further ado, here are the 10 best car interiors of 2019 according to WardsAuto.

A marvel of customization, the Bentley Continental GT features exquisite woods and double diamond-stitched leather surfaces.

The interior of the BMW M850i has a decided performance feel. State-of-the-art technology is also all over the place.

The Genesis G70 offers high levels of luxury without breaking the bank. Even when pitted against German rivals, the Koreans have nothing to be ashamed of.

Redesigned for 2019, the Hyundai Santa Fe is lauded for its material and colour integration. Don’t forget the panoramic sunroof.

The rugged-looking cabin of the new Jeep Gladiator pickup is great for both work and play. It also comes with a highly rated infotainment system.

The cascading centre stack of the Lincoln Nautilus is the focal point of its clean and relaxing interior. Ambient lighting is a cool touch, too.

The Mercedes-Benz A-Class was the brand’s first vehicle to feature the new MBUX infotainment system and it redefines small-car luxury.

The Nissan Kicks is a colourful little crossover with a dynamically designed cockpit. And with such an affordable price, many buyers find it hard to resist.

The 2019 Toyota RAV4’s redesign is a clear success. The controls are simple to figure out and the new touchscreen atop the dashboard is easy to use.

The new Volvo V60 wagon lives up to the Swedish brand’s reputation for comfort and refinement. A unique centre layout and seat combinations help set it apart.
