The Stars of the 2019 Monterey Car Week

Every year in August, the Monterey Car Week puts the best and brightest from the automotive world on display, especially during the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance and Quail, a Motorsport Gathering. This world-renowned California event features many global and North American premieres, as well as stars from the past and racing scene.

Now that the 2019 edition is over, let’s take a look at the cars that caught our attention the most, starting with this one, the all-new, all-electric Lotus Evija and its 1,973 horsepower.

The RM Sotheby's auction in Monterey featured a unique piece of automotive history and one of the most significant Porsche cars ever: the 1939 Type 64.

Sad, but true: Due to a pronunciation error (the auctioneer said "$30 million" instead of "$13 million"), it failed to sell.
