10 Cars We Won't See in 2020

We're now two full decades into the new millennium. Can you believe it?

On a sad note, a number of cars stopped production last year, so we won't see them in 2020. Here are 10 of the biggest names we lost...

Audi TT
No immediate successor to the Audi TT is planned, though the company is reportedly working on a new electric sports car.

Buick Lacrosse
Buick's full-size sedan no longer met the needs of customers in North America. The LaCrosse will be joined by the Regal in 2020 as the brand focuses on SUVs exclusively.

Chevrolet Cruze
Despite President Trump's pleas, the Chevrolet Cruze won't return in 2020 despite being a fairly good seller. You can get a great deal on a 2019 model.

Chevrolet Impala
Another large sedan is dead at General Motors, where SUVs are now the name of the game. Will you miss the Impala?

Chevrolet Volt
The Volt was axed by GM as the automaker prefers to focus on all-electric vehicles. Speaking of which, when will we see the Bolt EV's big brother?

Ford Fiesta
Introduced in North America at a time when gas prices were exceptionally high, the Fiesta didn't prove to be as popular here as in Europe.

Jaguar XJ
The XJ full-size sedan, which was sold in more than 120 countries, ceased production after eight generations and 51 years on the market. It will be reinvented as a battery-powered car in 2020.

Smart
Only a month after Daimler signed a 50-50 joint partnership with China’s Geely to keep the world’s most famous city car alive, the German automaker announced that the smart brand would exit the North American market following the 2019 model year.

Toyota Prius c
The Prius c was slightly updated for 2019 and remained the least expensive hybrid in the country. Customers prefer the larger Prius models and the RAV4 Hybrid.

Volkswagen Beetle
A true automotive icon, the Beetle ended production in July 2019. We wouldn't be surprised to see it return at some point as a fully electric car, however.
