5 Iconic Cars Designed in Cybertruck Style

Published on May 1, 2020 in Buzz by Guillaume Rivard

Is there a vehicle with more polarizing looks than the future Tesla Cybertruck? The answer is likely no.

And yet, it appears that the company has already received more than 600,000 pre-orders since the unveiling in November. We’ve only seen a prototype so far, and production (at a Gigafactory that still remains to be built) is not scheduled to start until late 2021.

Can you imagine if other iconic vehicles had used the same stylistic approach as the Cybertruck? Courtesy of www.leasingoptions.co.uk, we have some sketches that give us an idea. The results are pretty questionable, including the Volkswagen Beetle pictured above.

Bugatti Veyron
This French supercar looks a bit like the Cybertruck version of the upcoming Tesla Roadster, don't you think?

MINI Cooper
Arguably the most scandalous design of the bunch. Such a long and angular MINI is the stuff of bad dreams.

Jaguar F-Type
The F-Type is widely considered as one of the most beautiful cars in the world. This one? Yikes!

Land Rover Range Rover Evoque
In the case of the Range Rover Evoque, which already has a boxy silhouette, the result isn't so bad.
