The Toyota Prius, a.k.a. the world’s first mass-produced hybrid car, will celebrate 20 years in Canada this summer (the original went into production for the Japanese market in 1997).

Over the past two decades, the automaker has sold more than six million Prius vehicles worldwide including some 90,000 units in our great country. Today, the model name has become synonymous with hybrid technology.
