10. Saleen S7

Top speed: 399 km/h

Tuning specialist Saleen built its first car from 2000-2004. The Saleen S7 had a 7.0-litre V8 engine that could reach 320 km/h. In 2005, with a twin-turbo unit delivering 1,000 horsepower, it was able to increase that number to 399 km/h.

Top speed: 403 km/h

Featuring unique aerodynamics and a twin-turbo 4.0-litre hybrid powertrain, the 1,036-horsepower Speedtail has become the fastest car ever built by McLaren. It sprints from 0-100 km/h in 13 seconds and flies all the way to 403 km/h.
