Lego Unveils 2021 Speed Champions Sets
Attention Lego fans: the company has officially revealed its 2021 lineup of OEM-licensed Speed Champions sets, three of which pack not one but two cars.
Prices will be announced at a later date, but the sets should go on sale in June. Which one is your favourite? Check out the photo gallery to decide.
Koenigsegg Jesko
280 pieces – The Lego version of the Jesko hypercar does a nice job with the oversized front splitter and rear spoiler.
McLaren Elva
263 pieces – McLaren’s roofless and windowless roadster looks a whole lot blockier here, but it’s still a unique specimen.
Toyota GR Supra
299 pieces – It’s the first time Toyota has lent their license to Lego. This GR Supra set is not the best-executed, but we applaud the colour selection.
Ford Bronco R and Ford GT Heritage Edition
660 pieces – The Bronco R is a prototype for racing, but this Lego version looks more like the actual Bronco. Meanwhile, the GT is sublime in Gulf livery.
1970 Dodge Challenger T/A and SRT dragster
627 pieces – Here are two machines known for their power and speed, but in completely different ways. The black-and-plum combination on the 1970 Challenger is great.
Chevrolet Corvette C8.R and 1968 Corvette
512 pieces -- Do you prefer the modern, race-spec Corvette or the classic C3 Corvette? We’ll go with the latter.
