The Volkswagen Bus Through Time

Published on March 22, 2022 in Galleries by Dominic Boucher

The all-new Volkswagen ID. Buzz recently made its global debut in production form as the modern, fully electric interpretation of the iconic Type 2 van—also known as Bus, Microbus, Combi or Samba depending on where you live.

The Type 2 obviously changed quite a bit and produced many variations over the years including cargo and pickup body styles plus the Westfalia camper vans.

Here is a photo gallery showing the evolution of the Volkswagen Bus from the 1950s to this day.
