The Most Dependable Vehicles in 2023 According to J.D. Power

What are the most dependable cars, trucks and SUVs you can buy right now? J.D. Power recently surveyed 30,062 original owners of 2020 model-year vehicles after three years of ownership to find out.

Based on their responses, the consumer and research firm identified the most reliable models in 17 different categories by calculating the number of problems per 100 vehicles.

The automaker receiving the most model-level awards is Toyota (including Lexus). BMW (including MINI) has four and Kia gets three. The Toyota C-HR and Lexus RX are the highest-ranked models in the entire study.
