All-New Aston Martin Valour is the Coolest Car You’ll See Today

Aston Martin today unveiled the spectacular and highly exclusive Valour. Production will be limited to just 110 units globally in celebration of the British automaker’s 110th anniversary. Collectors around the world will go crazy.

As the only front-engined V12 sports car available with a manual transmission, the Valour’s purist approach is unique in 2023 and a thrilling tribute to a golden era of driving, Aston Martin said. It delivers 705 horsepower, while styling is inspired by a number of cars ranging from 1970s Vantage models to the One-77 supercar and one-off Victor.

The clamshell bonnet features a large ‘horse shoe’ vent and twin NACA ducts to provide ample ventilation for the twin-turbocharged V12 that sits beneath.

Made entirely from carbon fibre the bodywork marries Aston Martin’s contemporary design language with instantly recognizable cues from the iconic 1970s V8 Vantage.

The rear screen panel features vortex-generating exoblades.

The rear end features a dramatic taillight graphic, with clusters of LED light blades (six on each side) echoing the ground-breaking Valkyrie hypercar.

The elegantly upswept Kamm tail and prominent diffuser help achieve aerodynamic balance.

With standard-fit Carbon Ceramic brakes, the new Valour has ample stopping power courtesy of front discs measuring 410x38 mm and gripped by 6-piston calipers. 

Completing the Valour’s impressive hardware package are beautiful 21-inch lightweight forged alloy ‘Honeycomb’ wheels, which are fitted with the very latest AML-specific Michelin Pilot Sport S 5 tires. Oh, and the classically inspired round LED headlights look pretty good, too.

Aston Martin’s iconic grille shape has been evolved to enhance both form and function. Its central section is defined by aluminium strakes, while large carbon fibre intakes on either side feed the engine and brakes with cool air.

The Valour's interior is equally distinctive, combining retro and modern touches in tasteful fashion. 

The door handles are replaced by leather straps.

The shifter offers a choice of machined aluminium, titanium, carbon fibre or walnut for the gearknob.

An exposed shift mechanism emphasizes the mechanical connection between man and machine.

Traditional woollen tweed inspired by the seat coverings of Aston Martin’s 1959 Le Mans-winning DBR1 provides a wonderful contrast against the high-tech weave of carbon fibre used to form the shells of the Valour’s lightweight performance seats. So cool.
