Audi to bring Q3 to North America

Audi Q3

After much hesitation, Audi’s senior management has finally decided to bring the Q3 in North America.

The small luxury compact SUV will compete in the Canadian market with the BMW X1, the new Mercedes-Benz GLA and a few other vehicles under development.

For the occasion, the vehicle will receive a mid-generation facelift.

In Canada, the Audi Q3 will be powered by a four-cylinder TFSI with 170 and 211 horsepower engines. There might even be a turbodiesel option. Unfortunately, the high-powered RS Q3 model will not be available this side of the pond.

A Debut at the Auto Show in Detroit?
Although not confirmed, there is a good chance that the revised Audi Q3 will have its world premiere at the International Motor Show in Detroit next January.

The Q3 should enter North American showrooms in the third quarter of 2014.
