Volvo Ocean Race Edition: Ocean-Inspired Limited Edition
The Swedish brand has unveiled the 5th generation of Ocean Race Edition vehicles.
Volvo envisions the treatment for the V40, V40 Cross Country, V60 and XC60 models.
They are available in four colors: Ocean Blue, Bright Silver, Sapphire Black and Crystal White.
Inside, the bucket seats enjoy anthracite leather upholstery with beige or orange stitching. Volvo Ocean Race is imprinted on the aluminum rocker panels.
A Grueling Race
The Volvo Ocean Race is considered the most grueling race in the world. Participants navigate around 11 countries and stop in 11 cities. The total length of the trek is 38,739 nautical miles, equivalent to 71,745 kilometers.
The 2014-2015 Volvo Ocean Race will begin on October 4, 2014 at the Port of Alicante, Spain and will end June 27, 2015 in Gothenburg, where the Volvo headquarters are located.
